Any Q-jet needs to be calibrated for your engine. Q-jets were very different among the various makes. Fuel inlets and choke set ups were different. If you don't mind that, you can use any carburetor you want, but if it isn't calibrated for your engine, don't expect it to run right. This is way more than jets and rods.
Thank for info. i will go with the guy on here who builds them since stock 4bbl intakes as hard to find will go with the TA performance one but was surprised to see a manifold / carb package from them with an Edelbrock carb ? i want to run GM cold air cleaner so want a Q-jet on it

Mike Phillips has built a few 350 hp 350s does some nice 350 big valve heads. Definitely has good advice. He still does Pistons for 350. Can’t go wrong there.
