2 early 7 .0 " Wheels I have 3 early 7" road wheels that I can either bring to BPG or ship 75.00 ea or 150.00 for all 3 I will post pictures tonight. REVISED I only have 2 wheels 1 dated 1 27 the other 1 14 I have had them for a while and when I looked at the 3rd one it was a WG wheel Sorry. 100.00 for the pair or 75 ea.
Guys, Early 1970 cars with 15x7 wheels need the 7.0 rims because the WG wheels would be wrong. The first appearance of the WG codes was 2/20/70, previous to that all the 15"x7" wheels had "7.0" stamped into them..................and the 14x6 wheels were stamped "6.0". The application codes for all the Buick wheels appeared around this time. Previous to this only the "sizes" and rim code numbers were used to differentiate the wheels. Once the manufacturers started using different backspacing, so the same rim components would fit different body styles, they needed a way to differentiate the finished wheels and started using the application codes. The same thinking applies to radiators. As an example, the tag on a "SW" radiator shows the codes for both tanks and the core. The "SW"is the designation for the entire assembly, just like the "WG" designates the entire wheel assembly. (rim, center, and backspacing) Duane
I will take them. Alan from the board said he would bring them back to NC for me. PM me a contact number so I can call you and work out the details.
Engie, I am a little confused. I thought you only had two wheels total had I know 2 where 7.0 and 1 was a WG I would have taken all three. Fact is when there on the car you can't tell one from the other.
Hi Ryan, It is my fault I thought that you wanted just the 7.0 wheel I will tell you that the wheel is extremely rusty I was thinking about just using it for the center.
