ok i understand some of that stuff you just said. but i will look at that thread. thanks. what about when im cranking it. it turns over but but just wont start up. when it does it sometimes backs fire thru the carb. and some starts up but shuts right off.
sounds like the timing is way off...loosen the distributor...have somebody turn the key while you turn the distributor til it runs smooth...then dial it in with the timing light
