I have the correct 455 in A frame PSP brackets..
Alum. from Brad and 2 from PPI,
but the water pump pulleys need to come foward a hair.
Alt belt on angle and PS belt hits wp AC pulley.
Is it Ok to put 4 washers on bolts or was there a 4 hole spacer on the 455s or were the water pump pulleys different then the 350s?
    Thank You, Mart 20180319_152010.jpg 20180319_155443.jpg

Washers are fine if that's what it needs, mixing and matching pulleys is often a pita, but doable, they make actual water pump pulley shims "All-star" brand

Thanks Hugger...was the 455 Pulley slighty different, to come out farther?

I could be wrong ,but your PS brackets don't look big enough,to me they look like SBB.Bruno.

Nah they the BB brackets, and yes different offset, which water pump you running and whats the crank pulley #

    A "43" and "46" are 70 BB pullies, "77" and "75" are 71+ long water pump pullies

I'm surprised the PS bracket doesn't have a hole to bar the belt tight. Hmm. Not sure of the snout length on the AC/non-AC water pump, but the belt for alternator should run on the forward sheaves and the AC belt should Ride on the rearward set. I'd double check with Huggers' numbers and then look at pumps. ws

Water pumps aren't designated by by being AC or NonAC, once upon time they were but only because the AC had 6 vanes instead of 5, but the physical pump body is determined by the years ie 67/70 and then 71+

The 67/70 power steering is tightened by prying on the pump resivoir where the lip is off the aluminum bracket where the bolt passes through

I don't agree with some of that information, iirc you can't put the 71+ non AC pulleys on the short 67/70 pump (which is what it's implying) it will hit the pump body before seating on the hub, if I'm wrong I'll eat some crow ha

I know for a fact the AC 71+ pulley will

Thats where 40 years of the shade tree mechanics hitting the boneyard rears its' head! ws

Hugger, I Temporarily used my 72 350 AC Water Pump pulley on my 70SF455 with my 72 PSP brackets on.
I had to use the AC pulleys on crank and Water Pump.
Again, just a TEMPORARY rigging to have Power Steering until I got Correct Brackets and Pulley.

So after trying multiple different pulley combos on both a short and Long pump engine, all I can deduce is I do not have the correct non AC pullies for a long pump, I have a pair of pulleys that with a 1/16 shim would line up perfect on the long pump non AC application

The "42" and "41" pullies are for 70 non AC ie short pump which I have and they line up perfect, so if the 71+ non AC engines did in fact come with the short pump they would have used those pullies, but I still don't think that's the case as then the fan wouldn't sit properly in the 71+ fan shroud. So I'm sticking to guns ha, the 71+ non AC still used the long pump but carried a pair of pullies I simply don't have. I bought a 72 Non AC car that I parted out couple years ago and kept the pullies, but they don't line up correctly on the short or long pump so idk what to say there, other than they probably had a belt throwing issue.

And Mart yes I do have several of the "46" water pump pullies $30 shipped

    Thanks hugger, Sounds Great.
And "46" is the 70 455 with AC?
