I took advantage of extra down time and a small to-do list and decided to pretty up my car's engine compartment. I replaced the OE lifter valley with a cast aluminum unit picked up on Ebay some time ago and the OE valve covers with repop Super Wildcat aluminum valve covers from Cars, Inc. She went from this: to this: I painted the intake manifold and did some general cleaning as well. I won't be ashamed to raise the hood at car shows
