409 chevy valves?

    Has anyone used the big 409 chevy valves in TA stage 2 heads? They are 2.19 on the intake, and 1.72 on exhaust with 5. 11 length. My buddy that helped build my current motor suggested this and he is rarely wrong.

    Isn't 1.72 too small for the exhaust

    My intakes are the larger 2.250, but I think the standards are 2.125 so I can see them maybe getting the intakes.

    Normally TA has valve a complete set under 300
