455 Front seal

    u might consider applying blue thread sealer on the long water pump bolts. i had to do that to stop a leak.

    the coolant is pooling in the valley of the cover on the left side Of the distributor shaft

    I found the leak it looks like the previous owner of the engine pry the cove off and dented the aluminum. I'm going to get another gasket set and use some right stuff sealer on the upper arc of the timing cover. thanks for all the help atleast the oil leak got fixed from the front seal

    Your coolant leak is from the thermostat housing or a hose that hooks to it. There is no coolant in the upper part of the timing cover, Check the bypass hose and the upper rad hose clamps.

    now that I think about there is suppose to be no coolant up there but I can see air bubbling from right in between the gasket and the housing and coolant coming out unless some how it's leaking around the bolt between the cover and the housing and is escaping up top some how

    That may very well be the case. Try the thread sealer suggested.

    Everyone loves open headers on a 455, what the hell is wrong with them!!!
