Has anyone spotted a replica rally wheel that fits the full-size Buicks? Looks like everything is 5 x 4.75??

Full size Buicks are 5 X 5 . And they are 6 inches wide . There are Thousands of them available from E-Bay , Craigslist and other Places . Very affordable. Look for ones from around 1980 give or take 4 years either way . They will be 7 inches wide.

i believe the 15x7 wheels from the 80s won't fit the early cars. the hub is larger and won't fit in the rim. I'm like 85% sure on this. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

71 and up they will fit. 70 and older have a hub fit problem

This is the "fit" problem, and why most are looking for #853 rims (pre '71) vs. #895s which are (71 - 85). Have a good supply of #895's, 10 total to be exact.

Id like a beautiful set of 2 15x7 and 2 15x6 in the 73 style. I currently have 4 'driver' quality 15x6 with rust rash in the corners and dull patches where people tried to polish them and then realized it wasnt working.

Yeh, I'm wondering why useful technical information was removed without notice. Maybe some sketchy legal reason or pressure from a manufacturer? Seems shady to delete the info with no explanation though.

If there is a full size 15 in. rim (77 - 85) with the fleet suspension, meaning 5 x 5 that is indeed 7 inches on the inside (bead to bead) it should have a different part number than the #895. Erik aka Bad Boattail posted a very good link at one time, to all the common rims and their part numbers, that would be helpful here.

EXACTLY my issue! 1968 Wildcat requires #853. I think the only choice is to find decent used wheels.

895's can be used on pre 71 cars . I believe the only problem is the pre 71 dustcap is flat topped and hits the rim where the center cap mounts .

Later ,71 up dust caps are rounded dome type caps . You can get a set of 71 up dust caps and slice them off and weld them to your older flat topped caps .

Used this on my 69 Electra . it worked. Rear wheels are no problem.

That's perfectly fine and within his rights, I just wonder why he hasn't said so.... It still seems unseemly.
