    Jim Weise GOT AIR?

    TA Block

4.5x3.95 My 470 rotating assembly with bigger dia pistons, in a TA block, is what it is.
They have a limited number of TA blocks with Buick crank/cam sizing.

The 503 if for folks who just have to have the look of the Alum block, but don't need the high buck crank and rods that make a 555 shortblock cost $15K.

What would the approximate maximum safe HP and RPM limits for a stock crank in a new stout block?

With a good balance job, I would have no problem with 900+ HP and 6500-7000 rpm intermittently.

Light components of course would be the best here.

The crank was never the issue.
