I wonder if the later drive train has been bolted in ? Maybe not, probably just extra parts included. If it is fitted I reckon that's a pretty good price.
Really? It looks like a 300.00 parts car to me. I don't follow the 50's so I may be way off base here.
If it is only as pictured with the extra drive train included in the sale, then yes it's probably only a car & parts. But if the later engine / trans/ diff has been successfully bolted in , then around $2,000 would be a good start. Although a long way to go to finish to any reasonable standard.
I can only say that this seller has had this car on Minneapolis CL for at least 3 years. Why? Why not add photos to enhance the selling opportunity or set it up at giveaway prices to move it. Cars weigh a lot, ya know.
