This one just came in from Wichita. The engine, trans, and rear are all leaking pretty terribly. It's all coming out, getting cleaned up, and resealed. There are a few other issues that will be dealt with at the same time. Driver side door window is dead, front left brake drum is hanging up, etc. As I dig into the engine compartment, I am seeing a couple wiring issues that need addressed. Looks like it needs radiator and heater core work, too. Don't they all?

Being a Limited COUPE, this is one of the more rare cars I have worked on. It is a mostly original paint car with 83,000 miles. Michigan car with not too much rust. Interior is fairly decent with the drivers seat torn up a bit.

    Fun little winter project!

Love the car, just curious, will it be for sale when you finish with it? Post more photos when you are finished.

I think you'll have to pry this one out of the owner's cold dead hands if you want to own it  I will keep the post updated as I go.

Did you replace those crappy felt wheel seals on the front?

You're referring to the grease seals on the back of the front hubs? Everything looked good in that department, so I didn't worry about it.

Yeah. By the way I'm gonna show my ignorance here, what is that huge new compressor and where did the PS pump go?

LOL I was wondering if anyone would catch that. It is an Air Poise compressor for the air ride suspension. The car was converted to springs a long time ago, but retains all of the old parts (sans air bags), so the owner thought it would be interesting to have the compressor on there to simulate the option being there. The power steering pump is integrated with the compressor.

    Wow, expensive option.
