    Howdy,

Well I got a hold of a rear axle out of a '64 Riviera before the guy scrapped it and cut the brackets off of the tubes. Would there be interest in getting these turned into pieces that someone could do a rear axle swap with using new pieces vs. ones cut off of a donor axle? To make them universal, they'd be oversized with an axle centerline hole drilled in them so you could cut them to the proper radius for whatever axle you wanted to use. In my case I'm putting an 8.5in 10-bolt in mine but others have measured Explorer 8.8in Ford axles and have declared them good swap canidates as well.

I think they'd work on all the early 3-link X-frame cars if you had a stock axle to get the dimensions right.

    Interested parties?
