I see this is an oooold thread....I recently purchased a 62 le sabre as well and I'm looking for some advice on lowering without bags. I've found the posts saying the jamco suspension for the 63 - 65 riv works. I haven't found any photos with the 3inch drop to see if I'd like to do that to my car....any help for a nwebie would be greatly appreciated. Screenshot_2016-02-18-00-59-51.jpg

My last car was a '62 LeSabre. I owned and drove the hell out of that car for almost 10 years! As far as I know, other than dropped coils, there is no other bolt-in solution for lowering these cars. The first gen Riv spindles and '62 LeSabre looked so different that I never bothered to investigate further. Also, the front suspension components are completely dissimilar from the rest of the GM B-Body's (Impala, Dynamic, Catalina, etc), so no luck with interchange there either...

Coil Spring Specialties can custom wind you a set of dropped springs for a pretty affordable price though. Or they have off the shelf springs as well. I ended up cutting 2 coils out of the front of mine and bagging the rear.

Thanks, cr looks sweet....I like the drop in the front....I'm not really looking to bag the car, a static setup is fine fir me.....I've read about the jamco suspension but would like to hear from anyone who has actually installed this and some pics of the 3inch drop....

Call Tony at Jamco, he is the owner. Great guy to work with and they have spring/shock kits for 62 Buicks. I just ordered a 3" drop kit for my front end, couldn't handle the mushy heated springs and original shocks anymore. Also, today and through the weekend they are having a 10% off sale.
