Just wondering if any panels are available or will be available. Looks like I need a couple patches for my driver 66. You can vote for more then one.
You can get dogleg patches for the front fenders here: http://www.alfaparts.net/sky.htm It sure would be nice to get patches for the lower sections of the quarters - I need both sides!

There is noting in the link that supports anything bad about AlfaParts.. I spoke with Allen he said he will make a Qpanel from a donor of any condition for $600
As I understand it, a member volunteered his good panels as templets for alfaparts which resulted in the items they have for sale. Alfaparts then refused to return the original panels. That left a bad taste with me so I did not order the new panels as I originally planned to. (I was so interested that I paid for the shipping for the templet panels!) I do not know if they have sold any or not or what the quality is like. I went with good used fenders. - Bill
Owner's of 67's have no choice but to have panels made up, there are no after market sheet metal parts available.. With all said if I do engage to have a panel made I will make it clear to get my original panel back in writing..

I'm looking at possible purchase of a 64 that will need front fenders and rear quarters repaired. Don't see any patch panels available for the front fenders, or for the rear quarter around the wheel opening. No such thing available at this time? John

John, you could try cutting some sections from a front fender to repair the rear wheel lip. Yes, great to see the repair panels for the 65's FINALLY being available!
Good idea Walt! Unfortunately, when the 64 went thru auction 2 other bidders took it beyond the limit I set for myself. I know the buyer and a least it is getting a good home. John :beers2:
The 66 is still in the stone ages. You would think OPGI NPD and others like them would have tooled out some 1/4's and fenders by now. They dedicate a catalog to skylarks but all the parts come from other vendors for the sheetmetal. I'll keep wishing. I still need 1/4's for my 66. I bought the e-bay patch panels (gray metal ones) years ago but they look like they were hand formed. I would love to have something stamped!o No:
I was in a magazine store a few weeks ago picking up some stuff to kill time. I spotted a J.C. Whitney catalog, I haven't seen one in years, so I bought it. It was pretty worthless and nothing like the old ones from the 60's-80's. But...it DID have patch panels for rr qtr 67 Skylark, I'm pretty sure about that and I can check the mag if somebody needs to know.

I' m kind of new to Buick, but I think they would work for patching. I know 66-67 GTO would be the same. Same with 442. I know the tail of a 66 Skylark, the lights and tail extensions on a 67 are different. but for just patching the lower qtr....I would think they would be pretty helpful for the $.
If you return them, who pays the shipping?? I wouldn't chance buying them unless I could see them first.
