NOS, new or used... doesn't matter as long as it works. It's the switch that fits on the bottom of the steering column.
Below is a photo of the piece... I can't find one anywhere so HELP!

I'd like to post an image of the piece but for some reason the board won't let me... however if anyone has something that they think is the correct part I can email you the photo for verification.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, guy, The turn signal sw is right under the steering wheel. I think what you are describing is probably the neutral/start sw.

The actual electric switch is at the bottom of the steering column, under the dash. What's behind the wheel is nothing more than a spring and tension device which moves a metal pole that runs down to the bottom of the steering column. This is where the actual switch is located.
Oh and I also need to add that it's a non-tilt column.

    Thanks.

OOOOk, You edjumicated me. My 64 riv. turn signal works but wont cancel. I am about to pull the steering wheel looking for the problem. Looks like I need to get into the motors manual first to find out more about it.
