Hey guys, I'm just getting my girl out of mothballs and am doing a disk brake conversion in the process. I've tracked down an appropriate master cylinder, which happens to be from a 68 Malibu with disk brake option. I figured it would be a piece of cake to buy a new stock booster but none of the local shops carry the same exact booster as stock (Dad bought her new so it IS the factory one). Does anybody know of a source for the 9" original boosters? Or a dual 9" that is a bolt in? I can make a new clevis if the brake pedal rod is shorter (like the ones they have at the parts houses now). The M/C mounting on this one is very odd and would not provide a seal as there is an embossed area above and below the M/C footprint that would allow dirt and gunk in.

It would be nice if I could get this from a large chain so it has a warranty and easily exchanged if it doesn't fit, but at this point I'm also open to ideas, though buying from a specialty shop is at the bottom of my list.

Thanks for the recommendation, TrunkMonkey. If I can't find something from a chain store, I'll have to go with a mail source such as that one.

Anybody else happen to have an alternate year/make/model of something that would fit? Has to be a 9" booster, the 11" won't clear the inner fender.
