    Big Green
Found this guy in March. No need for another, but it promised to be a one of those Easy Resto jobs I hear about...

Inspection looks like it was advertised, near perfect seats, dash, zero rust...how can that be from Wisconsin?
Even the battery tray looks fresh. Not running, but it is a 66 Wildcat 465 with a q- jet. Cool, I need to have one in that configuration. No exhaust, carb in the trunk...
Obviously I have to take it apart to clean the interior. Then the seats come out. Back windows are not working so I dig into that. When the seats and all that are out the package tray comes out. And so it goes.

Off to the painter! Amazing every bolt and speed nut came off easily and the trim has practically zero pits. Now I have to polish all that stuff and assemble when I get it back. Should keep me busy!

Me Too! My very first ride in a an Electra was in my Uncle's brand new white '65 coupe. A few years later my parents bought a used '65 light blue coupe. I've always loved those cars and I can't wait to see yours Ted when it's all done!

That looks like a solid one. We'll be looking at an Electra ourselves as the next project. Gonna need as much info around here.

Final primer @600 for most of the body. The rear bumper is rechromed. Very close to shooting some more green!

I've been working on cleaning and painting little stuff. Polished up some front running light lenses and painting bumper brackets.
And lots of bolts and nuts bead blasted!

When you come to retrieve, we'll all have to get together! I know that shop and it's not far from me at all.

That sounds like a plan! But this one is home and there is a Wildcat in there instead. I will need to visit that one soon...sorting out a hydraulic clutch issue first.
