I am prepping my car for paint and have a couple of rust spots, the one major area is at the bottom of the rear window, I think its called the window channel. I have found that this seems to be a pretty common problem, but I havent been able to find a replacement patch. I did find some stuff on Original Parts Group but want to know if any of these will work for my 65 skylark, and if its even the right part for me. Has anyone tried these? I would post the links for these parts but I dont have enough posts yet.

The first is for a 66-67 skylark pn CAM7627

The second is for a 64-65 Chevelle pn CH22325
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey ,i'm looking for one of these too and saw that thepartsplaceinc.com sells them for the 64/65 skylark, just go to their site and copy-paste this number in the part number search
    BP1179S

goodmark also lists them on their site, but thepartsplace is 20 $ cheaper

He will probably recommend you repair the one thats on the car. Post a picture and show us how bad it is.

There is a part that is made to replace the front windshield lower channel for the '65 Skylark. They run around $50. I cut one up and used the V channel to piece in around the back window of my '65 Skylark 4 door project. If your damage is limited to the channel only, it may work for you. It comes with the little pins for the trim clips.

A member on the board is going to provide me with a replacement piece from a 65 skylark, but here is a picture of what it looks like now.
