Done some searching and found some relevant info. I'm no good at pasting links (?) but can screenshot Screenshot_2017-10-28-20-31-39.png
Some of these things would be good stickies - might save a dummy such as myself asking the same questions over and over

this is the tall spindle swap. it was a popular swap 10 yrs ago but it's since faded. you will need aftermarket upper control arms or you'll need over 1" of shims for it to align correctly. it really changed the handling of my car. but there is some bump steer.

A fair amount of 77 - 90 B cars, mostly Chevrolet, used the 4 3/4 wheel bolt pattern. 77 B cars like 78 A cars, used a one year only smaller outside bearing. So the rotor is also a one year deal.

I like this swap. I have done my past cars with this, and I am doing the silver car the same way.
I have a complete list of parts needed, numbers, etc,in m desk. I will post tomorrow.
I would be interested in those,if you decide to pass.

Doing further research I have decided to leave them. Introducing bump steer I am leery of and would possibly cause issues when going for a mod cert. so go for it my freind .
Buick swap meet page on Facebook. Just bumped it up the page for ya

I’ve heard a lot about bumpsteer, but I have never experienced it. Thanks for the lead.

the bump steer is only noticeable if you have 2 cars. one with the tall spindle and one without and you hop from one right into the other. its no big deal whatsoever. don't let it discourage you.

Is still didn’t or don’t notice it when I switch between cars. If it is a concern, there are a few places like Baer and Spohn that make bumpsteer kits for the B-body spindles on an A-Body. 64-70,and 71-72.
