Finished the work on my 65 Special convertible. Took it back to it's original black and black top. Very solid car to begin with and only 80K original miles. Chemically stripped 4 previous paint jobs, the original black, then white, then light red, then a candy apple red. Wow. Restored interior, new top, resealed the motor and replaced the trans. with another 2 spd (because I had one), removed all the pitted badging and blasted and painted the bumpers and grille, otherwise not salvageable, but I really like the black. Not a frame off, it really didn't need it. Can you guess what the hood louvers are from?
