66 chevelle rear end ina 65 skylark?

    Will a 66 chevelle rear end fit in a 65 skylark? If not what is the differance?

    yes it will fit ..no issue,..maybe a u-joint change,..worst case driveshaft length

    its a bit weaker though they are 8.2 c clips iirc,

    You'll need a conversion u-joint, Buick is 3R, Chev uses 1310 series.
    They are different rears..... different ring & pinion, carrier, axles, etc. I don't think anything inside will interchange.
