66 L-79 Chevy II Road Test? anybody run one?

That sounds about right Donnie, it was a blue 'velle with steelies.

I hear ya Rob, hopefully I'll get to visit Maple Grove b4 the SCR - but our little 7 month old is a time burner right now! (not that the other 2 kiddies aren't but.... you understand!).

First and foremost, thank you Donny for finding that 3/8th's nut for me! Made adj the clutch linkage so much easier! This was now the third time on the track with the car and I'm slowly getting the handle on it. Turned out I had a broken engine mount for most of Friday and that sure didn't help my cause! When I found it Saturday morning there wasn't time to correct it before the shootouts so I was a no show. I'll be at Stanton as always and with luck will get a little track time in before to help de-bug a few items. Had great fun and one thing more. Donny, you'll give me a rematch in Stanton won't you?

Donny, the little Chevy II is running a M20 with 3:73 in the 12 bolt. Still dont have an acurate weight of the car, the scale at Martin was jumping all over the place. I`m thinking under 3,000`lbs which makes the car....... oh - how shall I put it.........VERY lively down the strip!! It just might have the best power to weight ratio of any F/S car there.
You can run but you can`t hide at Stanton. See you there.:grin:
