Engine basic info I bought a 67 Buick GS400 its just missing too many parts, so I am parting it out. In the car sits a 67 Buick 400 (cast# 1381624) that shows all signs of little to just break in time on it (more on this later (with the rare 67 Buick 430 "big port heads (cast# 1372963), it also has the very rare 67 only big port exhaust manifolds, that are in nice shape (not cracked!) Engine history 2 owners before me both passed on the info down the line that "the engine and trans were rebuilt and the car was never driven with them. The car has been sitting a long time.I did some thorough inspections and found the engine to check out as described (I am a professional mechanic). I can give someone all those details over the phone if they have further interest of all the inspection process. I can see with my inspection camera there is .030 stamping s on all the pistons, pistons and clyinder's look new. Transmission from the outside looks like its a fresh build that has been sitting a long time (same as motor) pan shows some fluid leakage. Fluid on the stick is red and looks new. I dont know anything else about it. I want to fire sale this thing, I have a couple of local interested parties but I am looking to do a deal on this setup asap and move on, I want to use the money on something else ASAP. So if your interested CALL ME NOW, because this sucker is going one way or another quickly. I am in the Los Angeles Area. For $500 or less I can strap this motor and trans to a pallet and send it nearly anywhere in the country that is within reason of a big city. I ship all the time. I am looking for $2500 for the complete engine and transmission as pictured. Please post here or call me with questions Thanks, Tom 310-877-4565
