    Rusty,

Actually, there is a 68 GS400 original 3 spd car that's been sitting for a while about a mile from my house. I have tried to make arrangements with the owner to go see it several times, but we have never been able to get together (he's been pretty busy the last couple of years)

But, I talked to him on the phone once and he was perfectly willing to sell, but the price he was asking then was a little high for a 68 GS without the original engine (has a 350 currently), it does still have the original 3 spd. and a very nice looking white/black interior. Of course, it needs work, don't they all. It has rusty quarters and rust under the vinyl top and rear window area (that much I saw as I stopped by one day and walked around the car without him their). He said he has a NOS fender and some other parts, also, the clutch fork or some such part needs repair.

I'll see if I can get by there and take some pictures, I hate to see it sit.

Hi Paul, is the 70 GS a big block car? Is it in the same yard as the 67? You should pick the 70 up, looks like another one waiting to be rescued. I'd hate to see 'em both rot away though. :ball:

Any chances on getting some more information on the '70 GS? :Brow:

I guess it's no surprise that parts are gettting expensive if we're trying to save almost every GS we find in a field, barn, or snow drift.

Where is this yard??? I am going to be heading to Arizona in the Motor home shortly, and I see all kinds of interesting stuff there (55 Chev 2door, 57 hardtop, etc etc):)

he wants $1000 for the blue '70. not parting it
either. this one is definately not worth it. $1000
seems to be the standard price for everything
    there.
