Hi all, I'm converting my '67 GS to a floor shift and I need a few parts to complete the project. I'm looking for a shifter linkage (from shifter to trans),a console wiring harness and a courtesy lamp. If anyone has any leads as to where I might be able to obtain these parts, I surely would be grateful. Thanks, Nick
Nick is this a 67 or 65/6 shifter you are putting in a 67. I have the linkage from a 65/6 GS/Skylark but do not think the 67 is the same. A 67 has a pocket shifter arm on the side and the 65/6 shifter arm comes from the front. Let me know. One other Idea is to use some of the column shift linkage and modify I have done this for a 65/6 from columm to floor. Thanks Bill.
I sent you the photos of the wiring harness for a 67. I bought the console for the tach. Let me know. I believe also about the linkage, and told the seller if you do not buy it i would be interested for my 65. Have a great day, Jeff
Hi Bill, This is a '67 shifter. It does have the well/hump at the side of it. I'm not sure if the earlier PG linkage will work. I think the linkage for the 400 trans is a but longer. It's not a big deal to fab something up but I thought if someone had one laying around it would save me a step. Thanks for your input............Nick

Nick yes the 67 is different and the 67 400 is still different. As I said use the column one and rebend. You can use the clevis adjuster and bolt and shift rod from the column one. Rebend the rod and if it is the same as a 65/6 you will need a bushing on the end that goes in the shifer. You will still need the plate that attaches to the trans. I can post a picture of the 65/6 and the column one if that will help. Thanks Bill.
