I think you're right Ed. From looking at pics. so far a donor is in definitely in order if even a hardtop Skylark or Special. I'm sure the cancer is worse than it looks. Truth be told for most owners it's worth more parting out. I think all 4 spd 67 verts deserve to be restored. Period It's a good project for one who knows these cars and has a facilities to get it done. It's a major project to be sure but in the right hands it could be done. Ray

Hey Nekkid: I sent a PM response. And to all who say "save it": I say the same! Find a donor car to make this one complete. Not an inexpensive project to say the least - but probably worth it in the end.
Not only is it a rare 4-speed but factor in the rare Power Windows and Power seat...could be 1 of ? What are the colors?
Car left the factory dark green, not sure of the name, with a black top and black interior. I have found a donor car and I am going to see what developes. It was about an hour north of Pittsburgh, ten minutes off of exit 13 on I-79. This car was not advertised for sale but I purchased it along side a 67 GS 340 parts car.
Luuuuuky! I have searched all the roads on the way up to Indiana and Punxy and have looked at everything..never came across that or I would have tried to scoop it up! Great find and good luck with it.
I SURE hope you fix it up, or get it to someone who will. I know we ALL need parts, but take them off of a Skylark or Special, instead of this one! Dan
