I did, but I’m so done talking and thinking about brakes, so here’s my post about that.

Bled it with a friend, had very low pedal, but it stopped, so I increased brake drag at all corners and then the pedal came all the way up to where it should be. It no longer shakes at 50+ mph and stops like its tied to a tree, for its weight.
Might bleed it one more time, the rears that is.
I can say this: Pleased with the result, not the process.

Did I ever show you my Riv, the "only" problem is that it's a 66:D

Anybody have any suggestions for things I might have missed when getting the car ready?

AFR after test drive was good all around. I think this is what I’m going to stick with for Lebanon unless I go out and test it all again.

The brakes either need to be bled again or the adjuster star turned out for most of them. I have a low pedal, but then it brakes strongly when it gets close to the floor

EDIT: The front drums were barely dragging, so I snugged them up a good bit with the wheels in the air for the front and didn’t touch the rear. Getting very good at adjusting these things, so I might do it monthly if so inclined

Going to spruce up my old stock air cleaner. It will probably wear it to the strip Saturday with its updated color scheme.currently waiting on stickers that won’t arrive until after the event.

I honestly don’t know if I like it yet. I need the paint to dry more and the stickers to come first.

Yeah I flipped it and it looks better, I hate it. All the other paint in the engine bay is cooked, while this red stands out like a sore thumb without the heat of the engine to temper it yet.

Sorry but I would go with black or chrome air cleaner and ditch the yellow wires but I'm old......

    X2 or 3 or...
I'm old too and I know you're not, but it looks like your getting awful close to the neighborhood where you rotate the tires on your house (trailer park....):eek::eek:

I’ve gone back to the black air cleaner, I’ll post a pic up today. Yellow wires were a Jegs purchase and they like to color their store brand stuff the same as their logo. I could take all plug wires and spray them black or red?:D

Jeez guys I fixed it :D
Roast me over the coals until you see how it turned out with the cleaner flipped.

Those coming Saturday will be the ultimate judges

Go black body, chrome lid. black or red wires. no decals on the air cleaner unless you are going for the factory look. Later if you decide to customize a bit paint the body of the air cleaner the body color of your car. Sort of ties the inside / outside together
