hi,any of you know how to keep that ashtray door close on my 67 riv,am i missing a part?i don't see any spring or retainer on that door
Re: 67 riviera hastray door can t close Common problem on 66-67. There are two return springs one at each side down near the pivot hinge point. One or both of yours are broke. This is sort of what they look like. These are for a chevelle but look like they could be made to work. Original used are very hard to find. https://www.opgi.com/chevelle/CH26711/

Sorry No pic. Assume you have the ashtray out on bench. Amazing you found these springs NOS and cheap!
