Kind of an odd question, but I have a local shop that a buddy owns that is going to put the engine and transmission back in my car. I don't have the time and it's sold to a friend of mine pretty much at this point and he has no desire to finish it either. The engine has been out of the car for at least 6 years. I only remember so much. My buddy is a fabulous mechanic and fabricator but some pics could speed things up a bit.

Some good detailed installation pics would be awesome if anyone has any around.

The 67 Riviera GS engine bay looks the same as the 67 Riviera engine bay, with the exception of the larger A/C compressor pulley and the Star Wars air cleaner. I can take some shots of my 67 engine bay if it will help.

For installation, it's pretty simple: remove the hood & hoist it up & over the radiator, then down & in. It's simpler if the tranny is still in the vehicle, but there's enough room to get it in.

Yep, That be it. Mine has the A.I.R. hardware in place, and a period-correct radiator cap, but otherwise looks just like that.

    Thanks for the re-post!

Thanks everyone. I have most of the parts over to him now. He will start getting everything lined up and drop it in soon.

I wish I was doing this, but I just don't have any time. 3 kids with horses keep me too dang busy.

As of now I'm missing two parts. I need the bracket that hooks up the shift rod to the transmission, does anyone have a pictures of this?

Also, the line that goes from the transmission to the intake manifold, I think this is a vacuum line. If anyone has a picture of that also it would be great. I need to go do some digging in my shop tonight and see if I can find these parts.
