If that was a Chevelle Malibu it would be gone in a heartbeat. Beautiful car

Beautiful car. I like the redlines with the green.

  5. very nice car, but honestly I just don't see it fetching that kind of $$ with a plain ol 300/2 engine

Not everyone is into the big engines, soneone will probably buy it and ruin it with an engine swap, shame

  7. not necessarily referring to a big block. a 340 would have been nice in this car

I thought they all had rear fender skirts and no chrome strip over the rear wheel well.

I had a 67 special deluxe that had the 340/4, while it had a slight bit more punch than the 300 the difference was not what you might think. I've driven my 67 with the 300/2 all over the country traveling with other club members with the big blocks, and you know what, never once did I encounter a time when the little 300 wouldn't keep up with the pack. On a dragstrip, certainly not, but in every day life, it's the little engine that could. The 300 was by far the most common engine on the Special:Skylark series of 67

They did Gary, guys take them off and add the wheel well molding which in my humble opinion looks awful as the moldings don't match up right

  11. I had 2 different 66 skylarks with the 340/4 and they were heads ands shoulders above my 2 67 specials with the 300/2. one of my 67's had 48000 miles and the other 79000 miles so by no means were they tired.
