I have a 67 Wildcat that's headliner is in good shape. However, if you touch it, a bunch of dusty particles rub off in your hand and fall down like dandruff. (it's a white color headliner). The headliner is not a vinyl cloth. It looks like its some kind of finished cardboard.

Is there a way to encapsulate the headliner so the dust doesn't fall? Or where can I get a new headliner.

    Thanks

I've been struggling to find someone to do this job too. My idea if your cardboard is still good- scrape all that foam dust off and have it "flocked".

    I guess misery has company.
The cardbord is in good shape. Just dont touch it. There's some interior suppliers that want to sell a vinyl that you can glue and wrap.
Flocking would be a cool too. I wonder just how long it would last? Is it durable? How do you clean it?
