    Hey guys
im looking into Drag wheels 15x10 rear , 15x6 front for a 68 GS
    what backspacing do you recommend?

i run 19x10 with 20mm offset which equals a 6'BS right now. so it clears perfectly.

question is if you got 6.5 BS to work or is this to close to the frame?
What tire size? i would like to go 295/55 or even 295/60

    looking at these

You'll have to look at your car and measure. If your car is like mine, there are side to side differences that become critical when you go that big with wheels. I don't see how anybody could give you an accurate assessment on what back spacing you'll need. Just see how much room you have currently.

yea i have a 6" BS on my 19s right now and it clears perfectly.
a while ago i tried my 70 elco 15s with 295/65 BS 5.5 on the 68.. looks great but doesnt clear the outer lip
    So i assume a 5.5bs is not gonna work on a 10" wheel with a 295 tire.

however i have not found a 5x4.75 draglite style wheel with 6" BS for a reasonable price ( im not getting 500$ per wheel/welds)
SO the link i posted are JEGs Draglite styles with 6.5" BS so if i add a 1/2 Spacer i should be good
BUT now i wonder about the lower Shock location to wheel clearance?
