    Now available:

68-75 GS Skylark Holley Stage 2 Fuel Line and Throttle Cable Setup

This setup allows you to install a Holley Double Pumper Carburetor on a stock or after market intake. This setup will give you a factory fuel line from pump to t-block with lines and fittings, throttle cable and bracket for 400 & 455. These parts are factory GM replacements. You can now install a Holley carburetor without rigging it and have it look the way GM did it on the assembly line. No rubber hose, or aftermarket cable bracket, you get all factory stuff with this kit.

    Kit Includes:
    1. GM NOS Throttle Cable
    2. GM Holley Throttle Cable Bracket
    3. 4pc Fuel Line and Block Kit
    4. 2pc Holley Fittings-mount on the carburetor to accept the factory fuel lines
Price of this kit is $129.

Fits the standard Holley double pumper, the distance is about 9-1/2"...

    Shane,

Is that the 3/8's fuel line?

One VERY important piece is missing from your setup. You should include the clip that bolts to the water pump to hold the fuel line. Or at least you should reproduce it if you dont already. Those are rarer than hens teeth, I need several right now. All 455's came with them. We need them for the 3/8's line.

It is 3/8" fuel line. Also do have a picture of the clip?

No, I dont have any clips. I have had a few over the years but gave them away to guys doing restorations. Last one I had I gave to Carl Rychlik.

I'm sure someone here can post a pic.

These all got gone the first time someone had to install a new water pump on their 455.

    Shane,

Do you sell the cable and bracket separately? I don't need the fuel lines.

    Thanks, Mike B.

$75 for a cable and bracket. Call in and ask for me, as we just list them as kits. Thanks

    Shane,

I think Jim Weise can attest that the clip is a much needed part, that would be relatively easy to reproduce. Let me know if and when you do them. I will take 5 right off the bat.

    Shane-
One question. After the fuel block, going into the carbs.... are you sure it is 3/8" line and not 5/16"? It does look like 3/8 from the pics. I ask because the LS6 Chevelle's use 5/16".
If it is 3/8, I'll take a kit for my Stg2....but I really only need the lines:(

    Thanks!

***edit*** oh, and that clip IS a much needed item!!!!!

To clarify, our kit is 3/8" from the pump to the block and then 5/16" from the block to the fuel inlets on the carb. We could custom make one for you, but it would take a few days and also wouldn't have the fittings for the carburetor. The reason we supply the fittings is that the typical Holley carbs from 70 use 5/16" inlets and the factory GM blocks are 5/16" also. Holley replacement carburetors are 3/8" inlets. The factory tall high volume fuel pump may not be able to flow enough fuel through 3/8" to a double pumper carburetor. This maybe why GM used 5/16" lines to increase the pressure of the fuel coming out of the brass block, into the lines going into the carb. Kind of like puting your finger over the end of a garden hose and watching how hard the water sprays. That is our understanding.

Doing it is not a question, hopefully Jim Weise or someone else can come up with a sample clip. We have no problem making it...:beer

I just may be able to help the cause as I believe I have the one you need. Its brutal out in the garage though with out heat, and it may be a day or so till I get out in there..Carrhart time I guess..

Anyone who comes up with a clip, make sure it fits a 3/8" line.

I guarantee you this exact system will flow enough fuel (given the proper pump) to run 9's. I have seen it done. The 5/16" lines with this system will not hurt it as long as they are supplied by a 3/8" line. (2) 5/16's lines are bigger than a 3/8" line anyway, so (2) 3/8's lines to the carb is a waste.

For some reason, the board will not allow me to post the same picture twice in different threads (I even tried changing the name of the file :Comp: and it still busted me somehow  ), but here is a link with a large file close up picture of the fuel line clip needed. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=121080

Please note the size and shape of this 455 clip as there are at least two different ones I have that are not correct. Thanks for considering making them, Shane.:TU:

Some 455's and 350's had a similar clip that attached to the rear passenger side carb bolt to hold the PCV hose. It will not work for the fuel line clip. The clip in the above post is correct.

Thanks Roger:beer That was my concern, and coming from you, I know 100%now that it will work.
I've always tended to go overboard on my fuel systems for my race cars.

A while back in restoring my Stg2 car I had ordered the repro LS6 lines (which is different than these Parts Place kits) and they didn't look like they would flow enough, pretty restricted as the main fitting coming in the block is the 5/16" tube fitting size, so I went with the old ugly Holley inlet kit.

I will be ordering one of these.....Thanks!

If you can make this work for a fuel line clip repro,I'll donate it to the cause. Let me know.Just took it off of my 462 this afternoon..its a 72 motor, not sure if the clip was the one from that motor or one of my other 455's.
