Have you ever noticed that site seems to never have more than one picture of the car and it's generally a bad one?? Dave B
it's kind of funny I think that the 65 Riviera is the best looking car that has EVER come out of ANY manufacturer :Smarty: For year's, I thought that the 68-69 Special/skylark/GS was by far the most UGLY car to EVER come from ANY manufacturer, but lately I'm finding myself searching through for sale ad's purposely LOOKING for a 68 or 69 GS o No: ou: . Must be kind of like when your a kid and you hate a certain type of food, and then when you get older you find that you've devloped a taste for it :TU:
Tom, WELCOME to the 'dark side'!!!! :beer . I was in the same boat- I hated the style of the 68-69's until I owned one. Since then, I have owned over a dozen :Brow: ... I would gladlt trade my 71 Post for a 68-69 :TU:
Ken, I hope you are joking. That was the BIGGEST comment I heard driving my 69's. 'WOW!! Nice Chevelle!!! :TU:" :af: :blast: :spank:
Thats unbelievable. I don't know how anyone could mistake a '68 or '69 for a Chevelle. Go figure. Ken
68 GS 400 for 7,800 Called him this AM about the car, claimed the car was straight and the paint was good. After a 3 hour drive, walked into the garage and walked out for cigarette after a closer look. Went home with an empty trailer.
