Frank put me down for a couple. sell as many as you can, and let me know how I can help to get the project going, OK

I agree, post it up on the bench and see if it gets some play.

I would have an interest in a couple as well. Had a chance to buy one at the 2001 Nats but passed it up. Doughhhh!!!!:Dou:

Looks like another one dies on the vine............. dang.

I've been looking at various models that used air intake ducting to try and find something that is clean enough to install without it looking hacked. Being lame on crutches right now isn't helping my search though.

Tim N. How can you say "another one dies on the vine"? This project is moving forward. The cost of this project is not cheap. Projects aren't made in a day. Mark Lob I will sent some pictures to you that you need next week. Frank

If I could find the rubber part or something close to it I could easyly make the other pieces from sheet metal. being a duct mechanic it would be no problem.

I made one from a Corvette duct about 15-20 years ago. My 67 GS was worth little more than junk at the time so I cut the firewall 8 X 2.25 and rigged the duct to a 1968 air cleaner.
The part number for the Corvette duct says 14104557. Can't find it now, but a dealer guy may figure out what year it was.
I had to fab a connection from the air cleaner to fit flush with the duct as it is not angled like the orig Buick ones.
I have photos but can't figure out how to post yet. Help-PM/email me.

If a repo is made, it would be much easier to install and also look correct. I have wanted one forever. All I have is a copy of the blueprint from Kenne-Bell I've had for 25-30 years.
