I found a 1968 Riv that is beyond hope that's being sold for parts and wondered if the dash pad would swap into my 68 2dr. wildcat. Both cars have A/C. In the pic, they look exactly alike as does the rest of the dash. I'm also after the buckets and console, knowing that the seat pattern is different and the shifter is horse shoe (which I prefer to the stick anyway. Has anyone done this swap and is it feasible?

The '68 parts book lists a separate part number for the Riviera instrument panel. The dash and part number is the same for leSabre, Wildcat and Electra 225. You are likely to have problems trying to fit a Riviera dash into your car.

My dash is fine, I was only referring to swapping the dash pad (top)

That's what I'm referring to. The dash pad part numbers are different, so even though they look the same, the mounting points may not line up.

O.K. thanks for clearing that up. This car is in Ontario Canada, but quite close to Buffalo N.Y. Should I post a link somewhere in case someone else needs parts. Has a 430 in it and is a buckets and console car. Can be found on Kijiji Toronto

Your buckets and console idea very well could work. I know I've seen a '68 coupe with the horseshoe shifter retrofitted into it.

I have sent the guy an email asking what shape the interior was in and am waiting to hear back from him, so I may still go for the seats and console. It's downright impossible to find any 68 Wildcat parts (especially buckets and console) up here in Quebec, so even if they are in rebuildable shape and the price is right it may still be worth it. My car has a working power bench, but I'd rather have buckets as the bench is in rags and I don't want to redo it.

I'm far away from you but have an uncracked 68 Wildcat dash pad plus buckets & console. Might end up having to party he car out. I'm in Missouri so shipping would be a killer

Thanks for the post! Over the summer, I found some buckets and 2 consoles with shifters. I had the buckets rebuilt and they are waiting to go in. I do have a desperate need for the shifter linkages that pass thru the floor to a pivot and then to the trans.(see pic) Also looking for both door cards and the rear interior side panels from a Custom Sport in Black, but any color will do. A Custom Sport backseat would be nice too. Exterior wise, I could use the wheel lip moulding for the Lf. front fender and the rectangular chrome trim at the bottom of the front of the Lf. front fender. Lf. headlight door would be great as well.
That is, if you're parting it out. Shipping will be pricey, and I will have to get someone (hopefully) in NY state or Vermont to ship to, then I could pick it up.

Gary in Montreal has first dibs, naturally, but I also would be very interested in a few photos and a rundown if you are parting that car out, Rarebmx.

BTW, shipping from Missouri to Montreal is not a killer. Try Missouri to Melbourne, and not the one in Florida.... LOL
