    Can a 68 a/c system from a skylark be swapped into a '69 GS?
    How difficult?
All the controls and dash (metal) that looks welded I would like to swap over to my 69 GS.
    Can I do it?
    Thanks for everything!

Did the 69GS have AC or are you swapping into a non-AC car?

You should be able to swap almost everything over. I know the controls on the dash are different, so the hook-ups for that may not work, but everything else should be the same. I have used parts from both 68's and 69's to replace the missing parts on my 69.

The metal dash doesn't change, just the dash pad and plastic ducting behind it are different.

    The '69 is a non a/c car.

I did it once, and I could not figure out a better way to do it than cutting and welding into the firewall with the piece removed from the A/C car. Removing the hood, fenders and interior is just the start....

there may be a better way, but I could not find it.
