This is my CL add so please understand i didn’t write with Buick forum in mind. I don’t mean to sound like I’m as viced in this vehicles as most of you. Was a CL. Please be gentle This car is a driver and should be driven and enjoyed. No its not matching numbers nor matching trans and for good reason. The original 3 speed was a dog set up (still have the trans and goes with car). With added compression from built heads and new TA Perf cam this car is great blend of usable Hp/Trq on both highway and around town perf. Ill included new flowmaster super 10s mufflers but removed because was obnoxious loud. The 50s sound perf and its not quiet. This is an original, mostly restored and bullet proof 1968 Skylark. If you know Buick's you will appreciate this one very much. It has documented 43xxx miles. Solid and runs out perfect. Was originally purchased Ct as a 350 2 barrel three on the tree car. Since then the 3 speed was moved to floor and changed to a close ratio 4 speed. Floors, trunk frame clean zero rust/rot. Body- was stripped to metal and painted by previous owner. Zero bondo and all original panels. Body panel gaps perf, doors shut perf and you do not slam them. Zero sagging. Was painted 2 years ago. All exterior trim intact. Interior-was originally a 3 speed on column. Now four on floor. New clutch. Included is a 11' inch flywheel that wasn't needed for 4 speed swap. All interior is original and 100% wipers, dome light, dash lights and lighter works. Has stereo and it's updated professionally installed wt new speaker kick panels. Installed wt kit below dash. Not cut into dash. Original radio still in dash and turns on. Zero rips in seats or rugs. Custom no gloss walnut steering wheel just added with buick horn cap. Wheels-new Cooper Cobra tires. 255 rear and 235 fronts wt new chrome Torque Thrust IIs Exhaust-new flowmaster 50s. Tucked up and out of view Lights-Updated Hella 4 sealed lights Suspension-been rebuilt all new bushings through out and rear air shocks. ENGINE- was new long block wt paper work when I purchased car. I had it then taken apart and added some needed HP and compression. Steel ported and milled heads. Valve job and all head work performed by Boucher's in Rowley. They also milled heads .20 and added the springs guides and retainers. Has TA perf stage I springs and guides. Added a TA perf 210 cam. This cam has slight lump at idle. Makes great vacuum and is matched with other engine mods perfectly. Not a over cammed dog. Matched wt a TA Perf Stage 1 ported manifold that was powder coated and topped off wt a Qjet performance, out of Texas, brand new 700cfm carb. Carb was built for engine. HEI ignition, hypo adjustable oil pump (60psi running and 40 idle). Never over heats ever. Lastly new black hooker headers and hypo gaskets NO LEAKS. Car revs to 5500...will rev higher but that's the power area and pulls hard. Will cruise on highway effortless 80mph. Postons(new) valve covers. Metal fuel line custom made, new plugs, new air cleaner, new wires, custom radiator over flow can as well. I've got original protecto plate, orig keys and invoice when new. I've got paper work from all owners and ALL work done. All receipts from work I've done. Work I've done well over 8k. Car is a pleasure to drive. It's sounds perf and is garaged year round. This Skylark is a great car and has around 350hp. If know Buick's and want one you know how they run and how hard to rebuild engine properly. I've won local car shows and was only one at Skips mega cruise night. Everything works including windshield washer, cigarette lighter, all interior lights heat and defroster. Floors frame and trunk are 100%. Original spare is in trunk. Thank you for looking. I will include parts for 18k to clean shed and don’t need 3 speed Muncie Flywheel Carb parts Extra air cleaner valve covers 455 rockers Orig engine cam and push rods Brand new Qjet LLC carb in box. Same as in car Text me 781 956 8294
Jeepers , lotta time and cake in this car. Have you had it 2 years? Can I ask why you are selling? I love this car, if I had the money a 68 or 9 in this color would be parked next to my 70. GL , Jim
Thank you. I put about 300 miles on it last season tops. I’ve got a boat and honestly it sits in garage too much. I can’t take to marina cause I’m worried some boob wt a few too many leaving boat will wack it. Should be driven and enjoyed. I think i had it about 2.5? I will miss and prob regret selling.
I’ve got parts if anyone needs. Brand new carb from Qjet Perf, fuel line, 455 rockers, stock 350 cam wt rods and rockers 600 miles or so, valve covers (me gasket aluminum), air cleaner new chrome wt stickers, super 10s mufflers, 11 inch monster flywheel very good cond, 3 speed manual Muncie trans as well.
Beautiful car here East Coast guys. I'm waiting on a winning scratcher/lottery ticket, and I'll park it next to the 70'. Jim
Are those 15” wheels? It’s a great looking car! If you are selling the spare Qjet, how much are you asking for that?

Thank you brother. I think I’m gonna do another one. Maybe a 66. I like the lines a lot. Appreciate all the help and input you all gave building the engine. It came out fanatic. Amazing what someone can do if they listen to folks wt more knowledge then their own. Cheers folks and thank you all very much. Sent from my iPhone
