Hi Duane Tried calling last nite around 8p and it rang about 20 times finally going prompt to enter a code to retrieve messages Just wanted to let you know as others may have the same problem
Frank, Yeah my wife and I were laughing about that last week, the fact that if we do die, there will be a whole lot of hood insulation in the garage. Alan, We went to the X-mas party for Beth's work last night. I have all your info except maybe your phone number. I figured if people could not get thru to me on the phone then they also had the option to PM it. As long as I get the info I don't care if it comes by pony express, just so I don't have to beg for it. Here are 2 pics that show approximately 1/2 of the orders needed. I put a tarp inside Beth's Chevelle frame and started filling it up. The frame is off the ground and the stack here is over 4 feet tall, plus some are still off camera. You think I forgot anybody?..........................and I haven't even started on the big car stuff yet.ou: Duane
Duane - got my order and they look AWESOME !! Thanks for doing this Now the big Question is what/how to glue them on ? o No: I asked my wife but she said "Try Stapling them to the hood ou:
Alan, We always used the yellow contact cement. You can buy it in quart cans. Glad you were happy. Duane
Calling Michael L Vogel I tried to contact you about your order but have no information, and when I tried to PM you, I found out your mailbox was full. If you are interested in getting these parts please give me a call or PM me your info. Thanks. Duane
Paging bostongsx Herb, I have your Hood Insulation order ready and need your shipping info to get a quote for the shipping costs. I tried to send a PM but your mailbox is full. What I need is your complete ship to information, and if it is a business or residence. I also need a telephone number, with times to call, so I can give you a total cost. Thank you. Duane PS. Cole, glad you liked the kit.
Herb, I will get the shipping quote and call with the total. Thanks. Ray, I am not taking any more orders at this time until I get my current orders handled. Once that is done I will see what material/kits are left and go from there. Duane
Hi Duane, and thanks for taking our orders. FYI, your website doesn't seem to be working, in case you weren't aware. --Jeff
Jeff, My website has been dead for years. Most people usually know what parts I carry and give me a ring on the phone. I guess I should update my parts list for the guys that need it. Duane
Duane will you have enough material to do the 66 Wildcat hoods? If you do I will take 2 hood sets. Let me know a cost:TU:
Where did the 66 Wildcats come from? Right now I am out of material, so if I take more orders in the future I will have to get enough to buy a roll. I checked my sources and did not find anyone that was making 66 or 70 Wildcat Hood Insulation kits, therefore if I was going to make them I would need a pattern. What do the 66 Wildcat sets look like? Are they 4 large pieces or what?o No: Duane
Duane they are either 3 or 4 piece. I know we have a compete set between the 4 Cats:grin:. When you do your next sets I can send you patterns. If necessary I could buy a few more sets to persuade you:beer Thanks for your efforts.
"If necessary I could buy a few more sets to persuade you" John, That's probably what its going to take. The rolls of material are expensive, and the cost to ship 1 roll is just as much as shipping 2 or 3 rolls. The only way to make it affordable is to get enough orders to sell off at least 3/4 of the roll and pick it up myself, and thats a day trip by itself. First things first, I need to finish up the orders I have now. Then I can consider making another run. Duane PS. A picture of what the 66 Wildcat insulation looks like would help too, ie is it a simple 3-4 piece set with an outline only, or are there any holes for clips etc. cut into them?
