I'm trying to talk some sense into him(pot calling kettle black), but McDowell is seriously thinking of selling his Cortez silver 300 Deluxe post coupe :ball:

Where do you guy's feel would be the best place for him to sell it? Ebay or just stick it in the Auto Trader?

In the meantime, hopefully I can talk him out of it, but right now it look's like it's going bye-bye :spank:

    Yes Chris, that's the one

    69 300 Deluxe
    300h.p. 350
    TH-350 Auto
    12-bolt 3.90 gear
    ZERO power option's

Off frame restoration completed Sept04, car doesn't have 200 miles on it since the restoration was completed, probably closer to 100 miles.
super clean California car that was purchased from the original owner in spring of 2004.
Matching #block is gone, but correct heads/intake/exhaust manifold's, trans, rear are original to the car.
Current engine is .060 over and taken out to NHRA limit's, Run's GOOD :Brow: :3gears: Has gone 12.6x@106mph as-is.

Brian will probably offer a buyer the option of the car as-is, or with the .030 shortblock with less compression that was in the car when first built.
Brian can be reached at 269-816-0064 home/cell# or you can call him at work during the week at 269-273-8009.
Whoever buy's this car is getting a quality piece, it is new front to back, top to bottom.
The car was featured in Musclecar Enthusiast magazine last year.
    Car weigh'sONLY 3410lbs. with a 200lbs driver :eek2:
A 3210lbs. GM "A" body that still has the radio and heater in place. :3gears:
Brian doesn't have internet access,so either call him or email me.

Is this the same one that was at stanton a couple years ago? I drooled over how gorgous this car was.The thing I thought was the coolest thing was how plain it was. I would love to have it myself but I'm in the dog house with the car igot now.

    Tom:

Maybe try a members' ride on Supercars (Clary's Yenko site). Not necessarily like an ad to sell it, but that could develop.

    edit:

Linked it up to Supercars in the thread on Rusty's beautiful Hurst. A guy on there said he'd like to get into Pure Stock racing. Easy way to start here. :bglasses:

I had one of these cars a while back. It was Cortez Silver too but with a black vinyl top. The fun was that it was an original SS-396 with a 4-speed and bench seat. It was a project but finished it would have been a cool car. I didnt have the time or money at the time to do it so I did sell it (regreting that today).

    are you able to help?

Brian was wondering if someone who is a board member at the Supercar Web site(Rob Clary or maybe Casey?) If they would post a link to the ebay auction for him if that's allowed over there?
Any other Chevelle web site's it could be placed on?
    Year One?

    Thanks in advance :beer
