A 69 electra coupe just showed up at the west el paso u pull it. Hit L rear. 430 engine, drivetrain all in place. Very clean body and interior - it looks like it was a cared for car before it was hit L rear. I did get the instrument cluster - it may show original mileage. It was loose in car, previous visitor had gone through and removed most of dash. Just under 79 K miles. I have cell phone pics they will not upload here - wrong file extension. PM me for information.
I have a couple more small part needs, not sure if they are applicable to this car. 1 drivers side door handle (no pits) On a 455 engine on the passenger side above the valve cover is a tray that holds the wiring harness which is wrapped in a plastic tube need the tray (about 10-12" long) Need the outer headlights on a dual headlight set up. Must have power beam on the lens will take up to 4 of these On the sun visors I need the little chrome cover pieces on each visor that are at the inside on the corners. Still chasing some 77-79 Full-size Caddy parts if you see one let me know Cheers
Hi. Interested in front emblem. A/C hoses, and other parts to aircondition. Rubber on front bumper. On the side and on top of the bumper. Brake pedal if it is for cruise control. Thanks Goran
Traveled down to yard today. Took these pics. Skirt in trunk, loose is R, left one must have been destroyed in rear end hit. Front bumper rubbers are there, rear bumper ones appear destroyed by hit. this is not my car. It is in a U pull 35 miles +/- from my place of residence. 75 miles round trip. (Anthony, Texas) Throwing this out there to see if any parties need larger orders, such as - front clip, doors, R rear quarter panel, trunk lid, rear end, 430 engine and trans, entire interior, complete power window setup, etc. Shipping will be additional, I do have a contact in downtown El Paso with a truck dock.
What is the canister that is in the picture with the horns ?? Is it a air shock compressor ? interested if it is. Are there any cars with T-3 headlights in them ??
I have no idea what that canister is. It does appear factory. This car also has a factory underhood light. I did purchase the steering column (w/ key), the instrument cluster, and the interior rear view mirror with map? light. The mirror and the cluster had already been removed by previous visitors and left inside the car. Most of the dashboard has been removed, although the air conditioning selector is still there, along with cables and inner suitcase/heater core.
If you go back I would be interested in that canister. It appears to have a vacuum port. I don't think its factory. Thanks.
Am going back to this yard either thursday or friday. To get a pair of six cylinder cast iron heads and possibly a 350 chevy long block for a customer. My primary side business is getting parts and engine assemblies for a las cruces based irrigation pump engine builder. What is that canister worth? Forty plus ship sound okay?? Any attached lines or fasteners would be included.
What kind of shape are those sandalwood seat belts and 16" armrests in? any chalkiness to the armrests? Also, any cracks/damage in the chrome armrest backing plates?
Looked more closely at "canister" today. It is a friggin glass bottle, with what appears to be a cast aluminum lid. Weird.
That would make sense. Car was only a few years old when the first phony "energy crisis" hit, following the six day/yom kipper war of fall 1973. Looks like an institutional large mayonnaise jar, it has a metal wire cage, and an aluminum top with two ports. Neither was connected to anything.
