Thanks for any and all help. After the body work was done.... I can't get the tires off the car.:mad: Soooooo, I'm looking for some estimates of the section thickness. The line shown is 1.25 " from the inner boss. I'm really looking for the thickness on the flange. I don't want to come up short.;) It was tight before the bodywork. Cheers, Mike 20191221_143314.jpg

Mike , Are both sides that close? Or just one side? Mine is tight but I am running a 15X8 with 275 60 15 . And One side is tighter than the other.

Just trying to remove tire or clearencing for driving with said tire? I’d be doing a lot of deflating, shock removal, multiple jackstand maneuvers for removal but if it’s for clearance, I got nuthin .

I dont mean to ask dumb questions but.....on a 69, the rear wheels dont come off unless you have the frame supported and the rear axle hanging

As Jason stated... have to jack up the frame and give enough clearance to “Jimmy” the wheel out.

Well this is quite the news. I used to just Jack at the pumpkin and take them off. They were tight but they slid right out. Jack stands on the frame after jacking then? I'm just trying to get them off.

Thats the way they come off a 69- jack up the frame and let the rear hang
