Anyone know anything about this car?

I'm new to the board so I can't use links yet. It's Lot # 653.1 at Barrett-Jackson's website under "Car Search" and "Current Event Listing".

Maybe someone can add the link to the thread.

    Thanks,

Not sure what this means in the description:

"The engine (Cast #1383790, Cast Date F-8) were transferred calendar day 267 along with the M21 close ration Muncie and the performance rear axle, all with corresponding dates and codes. "

1969 Buick GS hardtop -- has stage emblems, stage valve covers. Could end up being a bargain if it's for real.

I've been to the WPB Barrett Jackson and may go again this year. Some of the cars don't look nearly as nice when viewed up close. Some were ammature restorations at best. Others were stunning and the final bids reflected the quality.

No way in heck would I buy a car from them sight unseen. The best deals rolled through the first two days....not nearly as much bidding competition.

I don't want to hijack this thread but since some of you mentioned being at WPB Barrett, I will ask. Is this worth going to? I have 2 VIP tickets that are at my disposal.

I will be there with 2 cars... a 63 T-Bird and a 65 Green GS Conv. Stop by and visit a while. The Bird is nice and the GS is a stunning car. I'll have my cell phone at the event.

His last car broke the bank for a 1967 Chevelle at 102,000.. That was a world record.. Not one even close before that..

Not to hi jack a thread by any means but just so everyone knows, this weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) is the "Spring Fling" inside Daytona Speedway, it is a "huge" car show (Thousands normally), swap meet and car auction and this weekend is predicted to be awesome weather (Low 80's) so I expect a big crowd. Not too far for a nice drive to check it out if your down for the Barret Jackson show. (No, I am not affilitated by any means but just wanted to let the people from out of town know about it).

    Randy,

If you see a guy in a green shirt, blue jeans and brown hat hanging around this car, say hello.

Is that a GSX steering wheel? It looks a little too fat for a 16" '69 wheel.
