It's just starting on HD Theater. I sure hope they don't screw it up with an Edelbrock Chevy crate motor.

Turns out the show is 5 years old. I'd never seen it before. I don't particularly like what they did to the car but at least it got a TA Performance BBB.

I at least liked when they had that show Foose showed a lot of heart, and just seems like an all around cool guy, even if I don't like his designs at all. The rest of these big name builders all seem to have a chip on their shoulder.

I would have loved to get on that show. I just would have rolled around the corner, put my old rims back on, and been a happy camper. lol

I always wonder what they'd do if an owner saw his car and said, "I really appreciate what you guys have done for me but it's ugly and I hate it". Maybe not air that show?

Love his work.. hate his work.. cant keep everyone happy...

I love most of his work. Wish Overhaulin was still on.
Sure, some things I could do without.

He's a brilliant designer, you don't win the Ridler award 3 times for nothing
And he sure does seem like a great guy when the emotions of an unveiling affect him just as much as the owner.

Would love to meet him one of these days, If I ever get to CA I'll visit Huntington Beach to see his shop.

Without a doubt, and he's in perpetual motion. I often wonder how he finds time to sleep. He's not at all like Boyd Coddington and perhaps some of the others. Foose actually helps with the work.

His designs aren't really my cup of tea but I have the utmost respect for him nonetheless. He's always on the cutting edge of the latest trends, probably the one responsible for a lot of them. I guess I just can't shake my old school ways.

I've seen this episode a few times now, and don't really get tired of watching it even if the final paint job on this one wasn't my cup of tea. I loved the show when it was on and while I prefer the closer to stock look personally, I really liked all the work I saw on the show. Also, whenever they Overhauled someone, the insiders would let Chip know if the owner preferred a stock look, and Chip would go with it.
