69 GS Cowl screens Question

Hi guys quick question from a newer member ...finishing up the restoration on my 1969 GS 350 which I had to replace the cowl (I believe was AMD manufactured) due to typical midwestern rust issues. I bought replacement cowl screens from an eBay supplier but they seem to be too small and fall into the opening or don’t clip securely? Any body have this issue or ideas, maybe a better supplier? Pics attached

 

68/69 uses a one piece wire screen to cover the whole intake area
