When is ERTL or any of the others going to make a 69 GS die-cast??

Or if they have, I have never heard of it.

    Anybody know anything???

Scotty, I have never seen a die cast model of a 69, just plastic ones. I have a GS that they can use as model to make little GS's

Does that model kit come with the engine and drivetrain?

Or is it just the externals?

    Still pretty cool either way.

    Thanks!

The Perry's Resin '68 kit comes with the body, bumpers, rims, tail lights, seats, steering wheel. You will have to purchase a '69 Chevelle standard model kit from the hobby store to get: glass, tires, axle, frame and other things.

I used the chevy motor and moved the distributor to the front and the alternator to the correct side along with painting it Buick red and using foil to "chrome" the air cleaner lid. Looks OK.

will the motor and trans from a gsx model fit the chevelle chassis so that the 68 would have that right motor?

Grab the 430 from the AMT 69 Riv kit. Right scale and doesn't have dorky Chevy look. 69 Riv kits are all over, find a hobby store that caters to crafters, thier stock hangs around forever.

Yes with some trimming or use a whole gsx chassis like i did.Took a lot of fitting to do. I used the valve covers from a 69 riv on the gsx engine because the gsx engine is nicer than the riv engine.

Now that we have the 69 issue settled, how about a 65 Skylark GS? If someone would come up with that one I know it would sell. All I can do is wait and wish.
