Does any one know how to tell what all exterior trim items would could on a 69 GS stage one ? Mine is a four speed, no ac, no power steering, lime green, black top, black int. I sent off to Duane and got the info from the factory build sheet a couple of years ago( which I'm am trying to find in my mounds of paper work at home), but I don't think it tells me what all trim it should have. Thanks

Build sheetshould show any trim items that were ordered. On a ‘69 there’s the pinstripe and wider trim on the top of the doors, beyond that I don’t recall. Post the build sheet when you find it!

Bryan- do you have an assembly manual? The first 10 or so pages list options.. Off the top of my head: Stage 1, auto/manual, consolette (only with buckets), tach (only with buckets and consolette), short console (only with buckets), bucket seats, clock, speed alert, power seat (bench and bucket), reclining passenger, rear window defrost, rear speaker, AM/FM, power antenna, tilt, rallye steering wheel, PS, PS "quick ratio", power drum, premium power drum, disc, power disc, cruise control, AC, sport shocks, rear sway bar, various 14" rims, vinyl top, belt reveal molding, remote mirror, and "rallye stripes" = pin stripes. I think that's everything.
The passenger side mirror is a dealer item- will be on the window sticker, but not on the build sheet..

I know it did not have rear sway bar, no power ant,no remote mirror, no cruise, no power brakes. My main thing is I am trying to find out what ext trim it had. The car has been painted a couple of times and stuff removed. I know it had the trim on the rear lip of the trunk ,around the vinyl top and at the rear of the vinyl top, but that's it. Those holes are there and just filled in with bondo at the time. The eye brow trim and frt hood frt edge moldings I cant tell because there is no holes or was welded up at some time. Trying to piece it all together. I do know my car was ordered by a buick dealer in Lawton ,OK for a factory race car ,that was raced for two years. So I'm sure it had the least options it could get.

The only other trim it could have was belt reveal... top of the doors and under the quarter glass... That's it. Otherwise, ALL of the other stainless/chrome trim you see on all of the other GS's were on your car...

Cool, I know it did not have the belt reveal molding trim ,no holes and I have a side pic from about 1974 of the car. Was trying to make sure there was no other ones like down the trunk. Would it have had the front hood edges and eyebrow moldings on the front of the front fenders or was that a selected option. Thanks

Bryan- nothing on the trunk except the pot metal trunk lid lip trim.

On the front: L shaped stainless on the front of the fender, wheel well opening, small stainless on the very back edge by the windshield.

Hood: front edge "scallop" stainless, rear lip long stainless (by the windshield).

Rear quarter: wheel opening, trunk lid trim edge pieces.

    Vinyl top trim..

Otherwise, that's it.... I can get pics of all of it, if you would like... ? LMK!

Thanks George, I think I've figured out all of the trim with your help.
