    Update:
The trunk was detailed this week, fresh splatter paint was used over the black base and then clear coated.

I figured out what it was...

    Light Redwood Poly.

    Very similar color.

    Update:
This week the trunk was done and this weekend started on the undercarriage of the 69 GS, touched up most of the frame that had overspray, fender wells, drums, gas tank, southside trailing arms, upper and lower control arms

Just a few more little details and the car will be complete, like the little rubbers that go on the fenders, doors and the trunk. Still debating on the Red Lines with 15 inch Ralleys or new 17 inch Billet Buick ralleys.

Well, everything has come together very well, I am very pleased with the job that Paul (72suncoupeGS) has done on my GS350. The car was washed, then compounded and waxed. I'M very happy the way the car came out, I like to thank all that helped to convince me to stay with the original color. Will take better pictures tomorrow in the natural light.

Finally, after dizzling all day on and off, the sun came out long enough for me to take some pictures in the natural light, and bring the car home, some detailing needs to be done to get it ready for the April 9th Spring gathering at John's Place. Thanks again to all that help in making me make the right decisions on the color.

    She's a real beauty! :TU:

My vote is for the redlines on ralleys. I always liked that look.

    Thank you Jim,

I decided to go with the Comp TA's got 245x60's for the rear and 225x60's for the front with a set of Ralleys that were on the GSX. Will buy the redlines down the road. Will take pictures as soon as I get them on the car.

I love your fireglow. Very similar to some of the colors that are popular on new cars today.

    Buickman,

Thank you, when I was looking for the fireglow orange poly paint, I had taken notice on the new chevy truck, HHR and Nissan having similar colors. Ford has a Sunburst orange also close but lighter.

That is Willard of Wicked Willard Creations, known as Pop, he is an 83 year old teenager that still loves his Buicks, he has a beautiful 82 Riviera convertible with only 33,000 miles, he also has a yellow Pontiac Lemans with only 14,000 miles. He goes with us (Hippies) thats what he calls us, to all the cruises and car shows. Picture is of an Olds that he helped his son build and designed the paint scheme.

Here's a picture of Willard's 75 Pontiac Lemans with only 14,000 miles on it.
He has a for sale sign on it, but really doesn't push it, He likes driving it, but if another Buick comes along, he will let it go for 7,500.00 dollars.

Today I put on the 15 inch Buick Ralley's with BF Goodrich comp TA's on the car, 245x60x15 on the rear and 225x60x15's on the front. Car looks good and has a nice stance to it.

I adjusted the color on this photo so one can see the rear and the tire footprint from behind. A view that is going to be common to the Rice boys around town. :beer

    Hey Buickbuddy

Did I see your car at Marcus Dairy at one of the Buick nights? In August.
I had the 63 Wildcat 4 door hardtop there that night, 425 CI with dual quads and factory 4 speed AKA Queen Mary III

Yes. That was Jason(buick64203) and I. He had his Aqua Mist GS.

Maybe you can bring it to ATCO and we'll line up together.

Some of us are going up to Lebanon Valley on the 22nd to test.:TU:
