***************SOLD*********************Selling our 69 GS400 Car sold new and spent most of its life in Northern California. I bought it from a board member in Idaho a few years ago. Car was originally pale yellow with black vinyl top and metallic parchment interior. I had to replace the rear window filler panel between rear window and deck lid with an Arizona piece, at which time we made the decision to eliminate the vinyl top. I also replaced the decklid with a rust and damage free piece. Original decklid had lock hole
The interior is present, needs covers, etc. Ram air breather comes with it. Power steering Power disc brakes
Mike, Beautiful work again! Wasn't this for your son? This should go fast. What's next??? Nice Trunk Lid! God Luck with the sale.
For another $1000 I will offer this option to a buyer. Fresh 8.5" 3.73 posi rear with bolt in axles, all new brake parts. A fresh surfaced Big Block flywheel, Restored Buick bell housing. Have pedals, zbar, push rods for manual trans set up.
forwarded to some contacts of mine - sorry to see this one never got finished, although i understand why.
Yeah. My boy lost interest, and so have I. Kinda hard for me to classify this car as a project.......if a person has simple hand tools and can bolt bumpers, door handles, wheel opening moldings on. And install an interior. It will be pretty much done. The hard, dirty, expensive part is done.
I saw this car in person before it was offered for sale and would like to share three observations. The paintwork is absolutely gorgeous. It is as straight a car as you could ask for whether you look at it from one direction or another. Tom is correct it is a simple completion at the current stage and you would have a full on show/driver. For the asking price you are years and thousands of dollars down the road than where you'd be starting a someday or next project car. Here's a fourth: Most importantly - you would be buying a car from one of the men of highest integrity within our community. There are two guys I would like to buy a car from no matter the make or model, Tom Miller is one of them. Hopefully I'll get that opportunity some day, I'd of already bought this car if I weren't as deep as I am in building a nostalgia wagon. Steve
x2 on Packer Backer. This car never would have made it to listing if I was knee deep in two motors, and Tom is well known for the quality of the cars that he has built. MBusher, for your sake I hope those local folks waffle!
Thanks for the kind words guys. This is more than likely the last car with this level of paint and body for me, at least I think. The 63 Drag car I'm building, I'm actually thinking of shooting in Lacquer.
