70 455 intake Preferably C date code.

Maybe. This engine at local yard, has what I believe to be a '70 intake, and a '71 block. PM if interested. Don't know all the date codes on these, versus Chev so any input on where to look is appreciated. Guessing "C" is March (1970). Hardware (intake to head) would be included.

 

C= March. Code is just in front of carb base. Has letter and corresponding numbers for day.

Here's an intake for my 70 stage one built the second week of March 1970 this is the original intake C-4 march 4, 1970 a week before the car was built. Cast parts were very close to the build date of the car sheet metal, carbs, distributors a different story

 

My block is c25 and my heads are d10. Car build date is 4/17.

 

Any date would be good up to a week before the car was built. I haven't checked my heads or block for Date codes yet they are the
Original block and heads .

 

Late C early D dates would work for you.

 

So rocket racer has a March built intake ... are you taking it ??
